Basketball Recap: Valley View Spartans vs. Bellbrook Golden Eagles
Valley View has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They fell 66-57 to the Bellbrook Golden Eagles on Tuesday. The Spartans were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Golden Eagles apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in January of 2024.

Several Spartans players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Chase Wallace, who went 5-for-9 en route to 12 points and four steals. Those 12 points gave Wallace a new career-high.
