Football Preview: Lakeland Hawks vs. Hillcrest Knights        
        
		
             The Lakeland Hawks will venture away from home to  challenge the Hillcrest Knights  at 6:50  p.m.  on Friday. Both teams are coming into the  game red-hot, with Lakeland sitting on  six straight  wins and Hillcrest on three.
 Last Friday, Lakeland beat Vallivue 28-21.
  Kage (Lovie) Weil continued  his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 154 yards and three touchdowns. His rushing production has been exceptional  as that marked his seventh straight game with at least 129  rushing yards. The team also got some help courtesy of  Haydon Benson, who rushed for 63 yards and a touchdown.
 Lakeland was unstoppable on the ground and  finished the game with 221  rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  rushed for at least 214  rushing yards in seven consecutive  contests.
 Meanwhile, Hillcrest had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat Blackfoot 35-7. 35 seems to be a good number for the Knights as the  team scooped up a  victory with the same number of  points in their previous game.
 Hillcrest is  on a roll lately: they've  won six of their last seven matchups,  which provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record  this season. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 37.7 points per game. As for Lakeland, they pushed their record up to 9-2 with the  win, which was their third straight  at home.
