Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Kansas City East Christian Academy). They put the hurt on the Mid-Missouri HomeSchool Mavericks with a sharp 62-42 win on Saturday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory the Lions have posted since January 19, 2024.

Mid-Missouri HomeSchool's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Rachel Robinson, who almost dropped a double-double with 16 points and nine rebounds. What's more, Robinson also posted a 54% shooting accuracy, which is the highest she's achieved since back in December of 2024. Another player making a difference was Tara Marks, who posted 11 points.

Kansas City East Christian Academy's win bumped their record up to 3-5. As for Mid-Missouri HomeSchool, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 10-17.
