Cornerstone Christian saw some tournament action on Saturday. They fell just short of Elgin by a score of 2-1.

Meanwhile, Eagle Pass waltzed into their match on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They never let the Thunderbirds onto the board and left with a 5-0 win. That looming 5-0 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Eagles yet this season.

Cornerstone Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 9-4. As for Eagle Pass, their victory bumped their record up to 5-1-1.

Cornerstone Christian suffered a grim 4-1 defeat to Eagle Pass in their previous matchup back in February of 2024. That contest was all but decided by halftime, at which point Cornerstone Christian was down 3-0.
