Softball Recap: Glenn Takes a Loss

Glenn was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the Hanover Central Wildcats, falling 13-2.

Payton Thomas was cooking despite her team's loss, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run and two RBI.

Glenn's loss dropped their record down to 8-10. As for Hanover Central, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 10-7.

Looking ahead, Glenn will venture away from home to square off against Tippecanoe Valley at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Hanover Central, they will welcome Lake Central at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The Indians' pitching crew has only allowed 2.5 runs per game this season, so the Wildcats' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
