Baseball Preview: McKinley Red Dragons vs. Struthers Wildcats        
        
		
            
 McKinley is 8-2 against Struthers since April of 2016, and they'll have a chance to extend that success  on Monday. The McKinley Red Dragons will be staying on the road  to face off against the Struthers Wildcats at 5:00  p.m. Keep an eye on the score for this one:  both teams posted some lofty  run totals in their previous games.
 McKinley scored the most  runs they've had all season to find success  on Tuesday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand East  an   18-0 shutout. With that  victory, McKinley brought their scoring average up to 8  runs per game.
  Landon Turner was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He  didn't allow a single  earned run and  only two  hits while striking out 12 over five innings pitched. Turner was also stellar in the batter's box,  getting on base  in all five of his plate appearances with a  home run, five  runs,  and three  RBI.
 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Tyler Williams, who  went 3-for-4 with five  RBI, three  runs,  and three  doubles. Another player making a difference was  Brixton Gilmour, who  scored four  runs and  stole a base while going 3-for-4.
 Meanwhile, Struthers had to endure  a  four-game losing streak dating back to last season, but that streak is no more. They blew past East 10-0. The  win was just what Struthers needed coming off of  a  15-1 loss in their prior  matchup.
 Like McKinley, Struthers also got a great game from a two-way player:  Jordan Becker. He looked comfortable on the mound,   striking out seven batters over  three innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   three  hits (and not a single walk). Becker was also big at the plate,  scoring four  runs and  stealing two bases while  getting on base  in all four of his plate appearances.
 In other pitching news,  Isaac Wolfe looked comfortable as he  tossed two innings while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits (he also didn't allow any  walks).
 Back at the plate,  the team  relied heavily on  Anthony Pastella, who  scored two  runs and  stole two bases while  getting on base  in three of his four plate appearances.  Michael Scavnicky was another key contributor,  going 2-for-4 with three  RBI and a  stolen base.
 McKinley  made their fans wait, but they earned their first win of the season to make their record 1-3. As for Struthers, their  victory (their first of the  season) made their record 1-3.
