Basketball Game Preview: Des Moines Demons vs. Springer Red Devils

Des Moines is 2-8 against Springer since February of 2022 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Des Moines Demons will welcome the Springer Red Devils at 5:30 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Des Moines is headed into the matchup having just suffered their biggest loss since December 6, 2024 on Saturday. They were beaten by Roy/Mosquero 67-39. The Demons were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 43-17.

Meanwhile, Springer had to suffer through a 63-26 loss at the hands of Roy/Mosquero. The contest marked the Red Devils' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Des Moines' defeat dropped their record down to 16-7. As for Springer, their loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 16-7.

Des Moines didn't have too much breathing room in their match against Springer in their previous matchup back in January, but they still walked away with a 45-41 victory.
