Basketball Recap: Island Pacific Academy Drops Season-High Score on Hawaiian Mission Academy

Island Pacific Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss dating back to last season. They took a hard 40-22 fall against the Hawaiian Mission Academy Knights. One positive for the Navigators, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Hawaiian Mission Academy's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Kassidy Kaneshiro, who went 5 for 11 on her way to 13 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Noelani Butler, who went 5 of 9 en route to 11 points and five boards.

Island Pacific Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Hawaiian Mission Academy, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-3.

Island Pacific Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Hawaiian Mission Academy, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 46-32 loss against University Laboratory School on the 29th.
