Basketball Recap: Christ Church Episcopal Picks Up Seventh Straight Win on the Road

Christ Church Episcopal had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 22.5 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Wednesday. They strolled past the Southside Christian Sabres with points to spare, taking the game 66-47. That's more bragging rights for the Cavaliers, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Leading Christ Church Episcopal to victory were Anthony Atkins and Jonathan Perry. Atkins dropped a double-double on 14 points and ten assists, while Perry went 6 for 10 on his way to 15 points and eight boards. Atkins has become a key player for Christ Church Episcopal: the team is 13-2 when he posts at least ten assists, but 1-2 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Reid Hipp, who went 5 of 8 en route to 12 points and seven rebounds.
