Volleyball Game Preview: Bountiful RedHawks vs. Viewmont Vikings

Bountiful is on a five-game streak of home wins, while Viewmont is on a three-game streak of away wins: one of those streaks is about to end. The RedHawks will welcome the Vikings at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams are strolling into their matches after big wins in their previous games.

On Tuesday, Bountiful made easy work of Northridge and carried off a 3-0 win. The victory continues a trend for the RedHawks in their matchups with the Knights: they've now won four in a row.

Meanwhile, Viewmont got the win against Woods Cross on Tuesday by a conclusive 3-0.

While Viewmont won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the first set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-14, 25-20.

Viewmont has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine games. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-5 record this season. As for Bountiful, their win bumped their record up to 14-4.

Bountiful took their victory against Viewmont when the teams last played back in March by a conclusive 3-0 score. Do the RedHawks have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Vikings turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
