Volleyball Recap: Fremont Silverwolves vs. Davis Darts

Fremont lost against Davis on April 10th, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Silverwolves lost 3-0 to the Darts.

Fremont was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Davis work for it, especially in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-15, 29-27.

Carter Green paced Fremont's offense, picking up nine kills. Green got some help from Nathan Broadbent and his 19 assists. Manase Tuatagaloa controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Davis' win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Brandon Sims, who had 14 digs and one assist. That's the most digs Sims has posted over his last eight contests.

Fremont's defeat dropped their record down to 9-18. As for Davis, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 16-7.

Looking ahead, Fremont will square off against Weber at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Davis, they will host Layton at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Darts are facing the Lancers at the right time seeing as the Lancers are stuck on a five-game losing streak.
