Preview: Jackson Memorial Jaguars vs. Rumson-Fair Haven Bulldogs
The Jackson Memorial Jaguars are on the road again on Tuesday and plays the Rumson-Fair Haven Bulldogs at 4:00 p.m. on February 13th. Jackson Memorial will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps New Jersey Rankings (they are ranked 99th, while Rumson-Fair Haven is ranked 30th).
Last Friday, Jackson Memorial was able to grind out a solid victory over Freehold Township, taking the game 37-25. The win was just what Jackson Memorial needed coming off of a 84-38 loss in their prior match.
Meanwhile, Rumson-Fair Haven beat Wall Township 54-45 on Thursday. The win made it back-to-back wins for Rumson-Fair Haven.
Jackson Memorial is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 12 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 16-5 record this season. As for Rumson-Fair Haven, their win bumped their record up to 15-7.
Jackson Memorial might still be hurting after the 61-38 loss they got from Rumson-Fair Haven when the teams last played back in February of 2022. Can Jackson Memorial avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
