Everything went their way against the South Mecklenburg Sabres as the Providence Panthers made off with a 12-2 win. The victory was just what Providence needed coming off of an 11-1 loss in their prior matchup.

Providence's win bumped their record up to 4-5. As for South Mecklenburg, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-3.
