Softball Recap: Simley Takes a Loss

Simley made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Hastings, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Spartans fell just short of the Raiders by a score of 4-2 on Tuesday. Having soared to a lofty 13 runs in the game before, the Spartans couldn't push the score so high this time.

Simley has also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-10 record this season. As for Hastings, their victory was their eighth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-4.

Simley wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 7-4 win against St. Paul Central on the 14th. Hastings has also already played their next contest (against New Ulm), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
