Football Recap: Colfax Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Colfax was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. The contest between the Falcons and the Wheatland Pirates didn't end well, with the Falcons falling 51-33. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Falcons of the 27-24 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

Adam Amatangelo threw for 205 yards and three TDs on only 19 passes. On the ground, Graeson Howard rushed for 53 yards on only seven carries.

Colfax's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Wheatland, their win bumped their record up to 5-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Colfax will take on Center at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Wheatland, they will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Marysville at 7:15 p.m. on the 17th.
