The Pelham Hornets are taking a road trip to square off against the Hancock Central Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Pelham is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 52.8 points per game this season.

Last Friday, Pelham was just a bucket shy of victory and fell 46-45 to Calhoun County. The Hornets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Despite the defeat, Pelham saw an underclassman step up: freshman De'Asiayah Johnson posted ten points and four steals. Another player making a difference was Mylaisha Almond, who scored seven points and 17 rebounds.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Hancock Central). They snuck past Johnson County with a 57-52 win on Friday. The victory was familiar territory for the Bulldogs, who have now won three matchups in a row.

Pelham's loss dropped their record down to 15-11. As for Hancock Central, their win bumped their record up to 14-7.
