Dan River had won six straight games and Jameer Reynolds did his part to make it seven on Monday. The Dan River Wildcats walked away with a 79-70 win over the Tunstall Trojans thanks in part to Reynolds, who dropped a double-double on 36 points and 12 boards. The matchup was his fifth in a row with at least 20 points.

Zy'Ere Smith was another key player, putting up 16 points. That's the most points he has posted since back in December of 2024.

Dan River pushed their record up to 12-4 with the victory, which was their seventh straight at home. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 71.1 points over those games. As for Tunstall, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-14.

Dan River didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, an 84-72 win against Altavista on the 4th. As for Tunstall, they have also already played their next game, a 65-64 victory against Bassett on the 4th.
