Basketball Recap: Northeast Raiders vs. Dodge County Indians

If Northeast was feeling good fresh off their 55-34 takedown of Southwest last Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Northeast Raiders were dealt a 58-27 defeat at the hands of the Dodge County Indians on Tuesday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Indians this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 65-57 two weeks ago.

Several Raiders players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Kassidy Davis, who posted six points along with seven rebounds and four steals. The dominant performance also gave Davis a new career-high in blocks (three). Maliyah Little was another key player, putting up six points and three steals.

Northeast's loss dropped their record down to 9-13. As for Dodge County, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 14-11 record this season.

Northeast does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Dodge County, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 55-53 victory against Academy for Classical Education on the 12th.
