The Foothill Falcons will square off against the Benicia Panthers at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Foothill is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.2 runs per game this season.
Foothill is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Tuesday. They put the hurt on Liberty with a sharp 8-2 win. The Falcons might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 15 games by six runs or more this season.

Foothill got a great performance from Take Sato-Kreis as he struck out six batters over six innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits. Sato-Kreis has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in four consecutive appearances.
At the plate, Austin Rost was a standout: he went 2-for-3 with three runs and two RBI. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in April. The team also got some help courtesy of Dylan Souza, who got on base in all four of his plate appearances with two runs.
Foothill always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .514. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Liberty only posted an OBP of .267.
Benicia came out on top against Redwood on Tuesday thanks in part to the team's impressive five-run first inning. The Panthers walked away with a 9-5 victory over the Giants. The win was nothing new for the Panthers as they're now sitting on three straight.
Dominic Louro tossed a big game, tossing six innings while giving up three earned runs off four hits.
On the hitting side, Myles Cooper was excellent, going 1-for-3 with three RBI, one stolen base, and one run. Another player making a difference was Carlos Largaespada, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one run and one RBI.
Benicia pushed their record up to 17-8 with the victory, which was their sixth straight on the road. The road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.3 runs on average over those games. As for Foothill, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-6 record this season.
Benicia's pitching crew better be locked in on Friday. Foothill hasn't had any problems when it comes to power this season, having averaged 0.4 home runs per game.
