Freeburg's win bumped their record up to 8-9. As for East Alton-Wood River, their loss dropped their record down to 8-10.
Freeburg's hitters will have their work cut out for them on Monday. East Alton-Wood River has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 7.7 strikeouts per game.
