Basketball Recap: Hmong Academy Takes a Loss

Hmong Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They fell 97-89 to the Community of Peace Academy Tigers. Even if Hmong Academy couldn't come away with the win, the high-scoring effort was a great turnaround for their offense, which had struggled int the games prior.

Hmong Academy's loss dropped their record down to 8-20. As for Community of Peace Academy, the victory was their first at home , bumping their record up to 4-15.

Hmong Academy has already played their next matchup (against Veritas/Tenor), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Community of Peace Academy, a feisty cat fight will be fought when the Tigers duke it out with the Panthers at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Community of Peace Academy is facing Mounds Park Academy at the right time seeing as Mounds Park Academy is stuck on a 13-game losing streak.
