Meyersdale won the last time they faced Tussey Mountain and things went their way on Friday too. The Red Raiders took down the Titans 27-12.

Lance Jones had a dynamite game, rushing for 83 yards and two TDs, while also throwing for 120 yards on eight of 13 attempts. Those two rushing touchdowns gave him a new career-high. Spencer Whitfield also helped with two scores in total.

Meyersdale's record now sits at 4-1. As for Tussey Mountain, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Meyersdale will head out to take on Berlin Brothersvalley at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Mountaineers' defense has only allowed 15 points per game this season, so the Red Raiders' offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Tussey Mountain, they will take on Northern Bedford County at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
