Edison was handed a heart-breaking two-run loss in their last matchup, but they sure didn't let that happen against Weir on Tuesday. The Wildcats blew past the Red Riders 17-7. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Wildcats considering their two-run performance the game before.

Edison is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-2 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.0 runs over those games. As for Weir, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last seven matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-9 record this season.

Edison wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, an 18-5 victory against Buckeye Local on the 18th. As for Weir, they have also already played their next contest, a 7-1 defeat against Capital on the 19th.
