Lanett's game last Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They came out on top against the Glenwood Gators by a score of 68-57. The Panthers' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Glenwood's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Braylen Alexander, who went 10 for 18 on his way to 26 points, and Mason McCraine, who went 8 of 13 en route to 17 points in addition to eight rebounds and three steals. With that strong performance, McCraine is now averaging an impressive 15.1 points per game.

Lanett moved to 2-4 with that win, which also ended their four-game losing streak. As for Glenwood, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lanett will take on Opelika in a holiday battle at at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Opelika will roll in looking for their seventh straight victory, something Lanett surely won't give up without a fight. Glenwood and Valley will compete for holiday cheer at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
