Baseball Game Preview: Rosemead Panthers vs. Rio Hondo Prep Kares

The Rosemead Panthers will face off against the Rio Hondo Prep Kares at 3:15 p.m. on Thursday.

Rosemead is headed out to face Rio Hondo Prep after opening their season at home and giving their fans just what they were looking for. Rosemead skirted past Rio Hondo Prep 4-3.

Carlos Villalobos was excellent, scoring a run and stealing two bases while going 2-for-3. The team also got some help courtesy of Logan Mojica, who scored a run while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances.

Rosemead came out on top in a nail-biter against Rio Hondo Prep when the teams last played on Tuesday, sneaking past 4-3. The rematch might be a little tougher for Rosemead since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
