Basketball Recap: Theodore Takes a Loss

Theodore lost against St. Martin back in November of 2022 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Bobcats took a 52-48 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Yellow Jackets. The Bobcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

St. Martin's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Markel Simmons, who went 6-for-10 en route to 15 points and seven rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Reginald 'RJ' Keys, who shot 42% from the field on his way to 16 points.

Theodore's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for St. Martin, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-2.

Looking ahead, Theodore will take on Baldwin County in a tournament on Thursday. As for St. Martin, they will be taking part in a tournament against Robertsdale at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
