Basketball Game Preview: Boiling Springs Bulldogs vs. Eastside Eagles

The Boiling Springs Bulldogs will face off against the Eastside Eagles at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Boiling Springs is coming into the contest hot, having won their last three games.

Last Friday, Boiling Springs earned a 40-30 victory over Christ Church Episcopal.

Boiling Springs' win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Makenzie Kinard, who posted 15 points and four steals. That makes it three consecutive games in which Kinard has scored at least a third of Boiling Springs' points. Akerah Morris was another key player, putting up six points and ten rebounds.

Boiling Springs smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 20 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 12 offensive rebounds in four consecutive matches.

Meanwhile, Eastside can finally bid farewell to their seven-game losing streak thanks to their game two weeks ago. They walked away with a 48-37 victory over Lovett.

Boiling Springs' win ended an eight-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 5-8. As for Eastside, their victory bumped their record up to 3-7.
