Diego Rivera is 8-1-1 against Jefferson since December of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Diego Rivera Huskies will head out to take on the Jefferson Democrats at 4:15 p.m.

On Wednesday, Diego Rivera came up short against Dr. Maya Angelou Community and fell 3-1. The Huskies haven't had much luck with the Phoenix recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Jefferson, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Friday. They were the clear victor by a 3-0 margin over West Adams on Wednesday. The victory was some much needed relief for the Democrats as it spelled an end to their five-game losing streak.

They hit West Adams with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Dany Gomez, Anibal Arevalo, and Enner Velasquez.

Diego Rivera's defeat dropped their record down to 7-7-2. As for Jefferson, their win bumped their record up to 6-10.

Diego Rivera took their victory against Jefferson in their previous meeting back in January by a conclusive 4-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for Diego Rivera since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
