Baseball Recap: Riverside Comes Up Short

Riverside was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They fell 5-1 to the Covington Buccs. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Buccs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 8-4 back in April.

Riverside's defeat dropped their record down to 7-14. As for Covington, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 11-10.

Coming up, Riverside will challenge Benjamin Logan at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Covington, they will welcome Twin Valley South at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
