Softball Game Preview: Cooper Dragons vs. Kinkaid Falcons

Cooper is preparing for their first district matchup of the season on Tuesday. They will look to defend their home field against the Kinkaid Falcons at 4:30 p.m. Cooper will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.

Cooper is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They blew past Alpha Omega Academy 17-1 on Tuesday. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest win of the season.

For whatever reason, it's the away team that's had the advantage when Kinkaid and HCYA meet (three straight games heading into this one) and that held true again on Friday. Kinkaid lost 18-5 to HCYA. The Falcons haven't had much luck with HCYA recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Kinkaid's defeat dropped their record down to 6-4-1. As for Cooper, they now have a winning record of 3-2-1.
