Soccer Recap: Edinburg Comes Up Short

On Friday, the Edinburg Bobcats didn't have quite enough to beat the Nixon Mustangs and fell 2-1. The loss was the Bobcats' first of the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Edinburg fell to 1-1-1. As for Nixon, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-0-1.

Edinburg will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Los Fresnos at 6:00 p.m. on January 21st. As for Nixon, they will look to defend their home pitch on Tuesday against Mission at 8:00 p.m.
