Mechanicville's defense heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Wednesday. They blew past Hoosick Falls 7-0. Mechanicville might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five matchups by five goals or more this season.

They hit Hoosick Falls with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Gianna Pitts (3), Tanner Eiseman (3), and Kyleigh Braoudakis.

Meanwhile, Scotia-Glenville's game on Tuesday was all tied up 0-0 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They fell just short of Schuylerville by a score of 1-0. Scotia-Glenville haven't had much luck with Schuylerville recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Mechanicville's victory bumped their record up to 6-2. As for Scotia-Glenville, their loss dropped their record down to 1-4-1.

Mechanicville took their win against Scotia-Glenville when the teams last played back in October of 2024 by a conclusive 5-1 score. In that match, the Red Raiders amassed a halftime lead of 4-0, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Saturday.
