Amherst is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Thursday. Their defense stepped up to hand Pacelli an 8-0 shutout. Amherst might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 13 matchups by three goals or more this season.

The win was some much needed relief for Richland Center as it spelled an end to their three-match losing streak.
