Football Recap: Fort Bend Marshall Comes Up Short

Fort Bend Marshall came into their game on Thursday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They were outmatched by the Randle Lions and fell 51-6. While losing is never fun, the Buffalos can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas football rankings (they are ranked 83rd, while the Lions are ranked 11th).

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Randle to victory, but perhaps none more so than Tyler Skrabanek, who threw for 233 yards and two TDs on only 18 passes.

Having lost for the first time this season, Fort Bend Marshall fell to 2-1. As for Randle, their record is now 4-0.

Fort Bend Marshall wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 17-13 defeat against Santa Fe on the 26th. As for Randle, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 49-42 victory against Iowa Colony on the 25th.
