Meanwhile, Richard Wright Public Charter School was not able to break out of their rough patch two weeks ago as the team picked up their fifth straight loss dating back to last season. They fell 12-2 to Benjamin Franklin. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Spartans came into the contest with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' football rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 25th in District of Columbia, while the Bayhawks are ranked 221st in Maryland).

SEED now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Richard Wright Public Charter School, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-3.
