Baseball Recap: Tuesday's Victory Is Falls City's Sixth in Last Eight Outings

Falls City was handed a heart-breaking two-run loss in their last contest, but they sure didn't let that happen against Brackett on Tuesday. The Beavers were the clear victors by a 12-5 margin over the Tigers. The result was nothing new for the Beavers, who have now won nine matches by six runs or more so far this season.

Dale Shaffer was a standout: he scored two runs and stole two bases while going 1-for-4. That's the most stolen bases he has posted since back in February of 2024. Tanner Krawietz was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-4.

Falls City has been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-8 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.9 runs over those games. As for Brackett, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-6.
