Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Douglass walked away with it. They simply couldn't be stopped on Tuesday as they easily beat the Lackey Chargers 79-32. The Eagles have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 15 games by 31 points or more this season.

Naiy'Lah Crutchfield continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double with 27 points and ten boards. She is also on a roll when it comes to field goal percentage, as she's posted one of at least 45% in the last nine games she's played. Khloe Thomas was another key player, shooting 88% from the field en route to 17 points and three steals.

Douglass was working as a unit and finished the game with 27 assists. That's the most assists they've posted since back in December of 2024.

The victory was the tenth in a row for Douglass, bringing their record for this year to 19-6. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 77.2 points over those games. As for Lackey, they are on an 11-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-19.

Douglass will have a chance to go back-to-back against Lackey: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled on Friday.
