Recap: Ridgeland Titans vs. Vicksburg Gators
The Ridgeland Titans lost against the Vicksburg Gators back in October of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. Ridgeland took a 20-7 hit to the loss column at the hands of Vicksburg. Ridgeland has struggled against Vicksburg recently, as their match on Thursday was their third consecutive lost matchup.
Malik Montgomery was the offensive standout of the contest as he rushed for 99 yards and a touchdown.
Ridgeland's defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their overall record down to 3-7. The slump could be explained by some tough opposition over that stretch, namely Vicksburg, Warren Central, and Pearl. As for Vicksburg, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 7-3.
Ridgeland does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Vicksburg will head out on the road to face off against Grenada at 7:00 p.m. on November 10th.
