Flag Football Game Preview: Yuba City Honkers vs. Del Campo Cougars + Official Tickets

The Yuba City Honkers will venture away from home to face off against the Del Campo Cougars at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Yuba City has now lost seven straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since September 11.

On Tuesday, Yuba City had to suffer through a 40-7 loss at the hands of Twelve Bridges. While losing is never fun, the Honkers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California flag football rankings (they are ranked 623rd, while the Raging Rhinos are ranked 194th).

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Del Campo, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Thursday. Their defense stepped up to hand Roseville a 12-0 shutout on Tuesday. The Cougars haven't had any issues with the Tigers recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

Yuba City's loss dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Del Campo, their win bumped their record up to 10-5.

Yuba City took a serious blow against Del Campo in their previous matchup back in September, falling 58-7. Can the Honkers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
