Basketball Recap: Kalkaska Comes Up Short

Kalkaska lost against Boyne City back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Kalkaska Blazers fell 48-36 to the Boyne City Ramblers. The Blazers' loss continues a trend for the team, making it four in a row.

Kalkaska's defeat dropped their record down to 5-9. As for Boyne City, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine contests, which provided a massive bump to their 8-7 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Kalkaska will square off against Charlevoix at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Boyne City, they will face off against Kingsley at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Boyne City is facing Kingsley at the right time seeing as Kingsley is stuck on a 15-game losing streak.
