Baseball Recap: Hudson Extends Home Winning Streak to Nine

Hudson put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They walked away with a 9-4 victory over the Kaukauna Galloping Ghosts.

Myles Howe looked comfortable as he tossed four innings while giving up just one earned (and three unearned) runs off five hits.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Logan Hagman, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with one home run, three runs, and three RBI. Another player making a difference was Jace Mataczynski, who went 1-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI.

Hudson's win was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 5-0. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.9 runs on average over those games. As for Kaukauna, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-2.
