Recap: Marblehead Magicians vs. Grafton Gators
It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact the Marblehead Magicians can now relate to. They took a 17-6 hit to the loss column at the hands of Grafton on Friday. Marblehead's loss signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.
Among those leading the charge was Finn Gilmore, who rushed for 192 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 7.4 yards per carry. Gilmore's longest rush was for an incredible 81 yards.
Marblehead now has a losing record at 4-5. As for Grafton, they have yet to lose a match at home this season, leaving them with a 8-3 record.
Marblehead will have plenty of time to ponder what went wrong as they've got a bye scheduled next week. After, they'll take on Swampscott at 10:00 a.m. on November 23rd. As for Grafton, they will be playing at home against Scituate at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Scituate will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak.
