Basketball Game Preview: Crest Chargers vs. Hendersonville Bearcats

Crest has won five straight games at home (dating back to last season), while Hendersonville has won five straight on the road, but those streaks won't matter much on Saturday. The Crest Chargers will welcome the Hendersonville Bearcats at 6:00 p.m. Keep an eye on the score for this one: both posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

Last Thursday, Crest beat Burns 58-45.

Crest had a senior duo take command as De'Kaylia Davis posted 15 points and Zaira Faulkner scored 13 points. Those 13 points gave Faulkner a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Josi Downey, who had six points.

Meanwhile, Hendersonville posted their biggest win since November 26th on Friday. Couldn't have asked for a better way to wrap up 2024 than the 56-29 stomp they got against Burns.

Crest now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Hendersonville, they now have a winning record of 5-4.

Everything came up roses for Crest against Hendersonville when the teams last played back in December of 2023, as the team secured a 69-37 victory. Does Crest have another victory up their sleeve, or will Hendersonville turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
