Basketball Game Preview: Paulding County Patriots vs. Osborne Cardinals

The Paulding County Patriots will face off against the Osborne Cardinals at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Given that both suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.

Paulding County is headed into Friday's game hungry for a win as their strong season has now been derailed by two straight defeats. They took a 61-49 hit to the loss column at the hands of Campbell on Tuesday. While losing is never fun, the Patriots can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 65th, while the Spartans are ranked 16th).

Meanwhile, Osborne was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost to McEachern at home by a 46-31 margin.

Osborne's defeat dropped their record down to 5-18. As for Paulding County, their loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 17-7.
