Basketball Recap: Pinnacle Comes Up Short

If Pinnacle was feeling good fresh off their 47-11 takedown of Utah Military Academy - Camp Williams last Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Pinnacle Panthers were dealt a 45-16 defeat at the hands of the Altamont Longhorns on Friday. The game marked the Panthers' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Pinnacle has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-3 record this season. As for Altamont, the win got them back to even at 3-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Pinnacle will be taking part in a tournament against Utah Military Academy - Camp Williams at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Altamont, they are taking a road trip to take on Union at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
