Baseball Recap: St. Mark's Comes Up Short

Wednesday just wasn't the day for St. Mark's offense. They fell just short of the Thayer Academy Tigers by a score of 1-0 on Wednesday. It was the first time this season that the Lions let down their fans at home.

St. Mark's loss dropped their record down to 12-5. As for Thayer Academy, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-6 record this season.

St. Mark's will challenge Phillips Exeter Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (St. Mark's 3.2, Phillips Exeter Academy 4) so any runs scored will be well earned. Thayer Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
