Baseball Recap: Stanley-Boyd Comes Up Short

Stanley-Boyd was the 8-4 winner over Durand-Arkansaw when they last played one another back in May of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Orioles lost 12-5 to the Panthers on Friday.

Stanley-Boyd saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jackson Gindt, who scored a run while going 2-for-3. Another was Josiah Demske, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-3.

Stanley-Boyd's loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Looking ahead, Stanley-Boyd will host Ellsworth at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Durand-Arkansaw, they will venture away from home to challenge Colfax at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The contest will give the Panthers their first taste of in-conference action this season.
