Volleyball Game Preview: Plainfield East Bengals vs. Oswego Panthers

The Plainfield East Bengals will take on the Oswego Panthers at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

On Thursday, Plainfield East came up short against Minooka and fell 2-0. The defeat continues a trend for the Bengals in their meetings with the Indians: they've now lost five in a row.

The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-15.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Oswego, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They came out on top against Joliet Central by a score of 2-0 on Thursday.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Oswego took both sets by at least 13 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-12.

Plainfield East's loss dropped their record down to 9-25. As for Oswego, they pushed their record up to 22-13 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home.

Plainfield East couldn't quite get it done against Oswego when the teams last played on October 2nd as they fell 2-0. Can the Bengals avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
