Volleyball Recap: Washington-Liberty Takes a Loss

Washington-Liberty was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They came up short against the Oakton Cougars, falling 3-0. The Generals were not able to make up for their defeat to the Cougars from their previous meeting back in October of 2023.

Washington-Liberty was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Oakton work for it, especially in the third set. The final score came out to 25-21, 25-18, 27-25.

Washington-Liberty's loss dropped their record down to 2-15-1. As for Oakton, their win bumped their record up to 11-7.

Looking ahead, Washington-Liberty will face off against Wakefield at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Oakton, they will square off against Westfield at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
