Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Worth County). They blew past the Berrien Rebels 54-16 on Friday. The victory continues a trend for the Rams in their matchups with the Rebels: they've now won seven in a row.

Worth County's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Lyndon Worthy, who threw for 350 yards and three TDs while completing 84.6% of his passes. That's the most passing touchdowns Worthy has posted since back in November of 2024. Kaden Chester helped Worthy out on the ground, rushing for 58 yards and a pair of touchdowns on only six carries, while also picking up 75 receiving yards and one score.

Another reason for the win was Worth County's imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for three sacks. Leading the way was Brady Weaver with two. He is also on a roll when it comes to total tackles, as he's now made six or more in each of the last six games he's played.

Although Berrien took the loss, they still got scores from Champ Tumer and Tre Mcqueen.

Worth County's victory bumped their record up to 8-0. As for Berrien, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-5.

Worth County didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 52-14 win against Bacon County on the 17th. As for Berrien, they have also already played their next game, a 42-6 loss against Fitzgerald on the 17th.
